If your insured device is damaged, you are required to notify us of this and register your claim. This can be done by calling 0860 861 111 (Select option 3) and an agent will assist you. Alternatively, you may request a call back by sending an email to [email protected]


Once your claim has been registered, you will receive an email with your claim number and details on some documentation that we will need from you. 


1. If you have not done so yet, please forward us your device confirmation. This is the Tax Invoice you received when you purchased your new qualifying Huawei device. 

* The Tax Invoice must clearly reflect the date of purchase or upgrade. 

* The Tax Invoice must clearly reflect the outlet name.

* The Tax Invoice must clearly reflect the device details, i.e. Make, Model and Serial / IMEI Number. 

* The qualifying device must have been purchased from an approved outlet in store or online within the Republic of South Africa. 

* The qualifying upgrade must have taken place in store from Huawei outlets within the Republic of South Africa. 


2. Please forward us a certified ID Copy. 


Once the above has been received accordingly, you may choose to:

* Either take your device to the nearest Huawei Approved repair centre; or 

* We can arrange a courier service for you. 



If you have chosen to take your device to a Huawei Approved repair centre:

1. Please forward the damged report and quotation to [email protected]

2. If your claim is approved, you will receive an approval letter. Please provide this letter to the Huawei Approved repair Centre as authorisatoin to commence with repairs. 


If you have chosen to make use of a courier service:

1. Please provide us with your collection address. Then sit back and relax while we take care of the rest. 



Please note that no claim will be entertained if all the claim requirements have not been received. We will also not settle any repair cost that has not received our prior approval. 


We would like to bring to your attention that should the required documentation not be received within 30 days from the date of damage, all benefits in terms of this insurance may be forfeited for the respective claim.
